About Angel Food Ministries 

Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing food relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 35 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.

Angel Food is available in a quantity that can fit into a medium-sized box at $30 per unit. Each month's menu is different than the previous month and consists of both fresh and frozen items with an average retail value of approximately $60. Comparison shopping has been done across the country in various communities using a wide range of retail grocery stores and has resulted in the same food items costing from between $42 and $78.

How it Works

Each month's menu is different than the previous one. It consists of fresh, frozen and packaged food. There are no restrictions, conditions or forms to fill out to purchase Angel Food. The food relief program is open to one and all and there are no limits to the numbr of boxes you may order!

You will need to place your order each month before the final date. We are open twice a month to receive orders in person. We accept cash, money orders, Link cards, and credit/debit cards. Only credit/debit cards may be used to place your order through the angelfood website. (You may do this by going to www.angelfoodministries.com) Be sure to check the order due date as it changes monthly.

Once your order has been placed, you will go to the host site on Distribution Day to pick up your order. At this time you may place your next months order. Our distribution time is 9:00am- 9:30am. We begin taking new orders at 8:30am. When you come, you will want to bring something to carry your food home in. One box would require something about the size of a banana box.
